The Plaza Hotel is straight ahead and the Castro/Breen House is to the left. An suspected robber of the San Benito Stage was detained there for questioning the next day after a robbery, in 1872.
I volunteer in the Saloon, and the door for the Saloon is at the bottom left corner of the Plaza Hotel. It was been fixed up to look like the Saloon in 1898. We sell soda and the Saloon is free to visit.
